Arion Import
Imports an Arion hyperspectral dataset stored as a folder of TIFF images and converts the image planes into an IDCubePro hyperspectral cube.
Overview
Imports an Arion hyperspectral dataset stored as a folder of TIFF images and converts the image planes into an IDCubePro hyperspectral cube.
Select the folder containing the Arion .tif or .tiff files.
All TIFF planes must have identical spatial dimensions. Files are naturally sorted before they are assembled into the cube.
When exactly 32 TIFF planes are detected, IDCubePro applies the dedicated Arion wavelength calibration from 466 to 940 nm.
If the number of TIFF files is not 32, physical Arion wavelengths are not assumed. Band indices 1:N are used instead.
The imported data become the current IDCubePro dataset and an IDCube MAT file is automatically saved in the selected folder.
Workflow
1. Choose Import Arion TIFF Dataset.
2. Select the folder containing the TIFF planes.
3. IDCubePro sorts and validates all TIFF images.
4. Confirm the detected number of spectral bands.
5. Inspect wavelengths or band indices after import.
A non-32-band TIFF set is treated as a generic band-index stack.
Do not interpret band numbers as calibrated wavelengths.
