Supporting New Hyperspectral Research
The IDCube Research Software Grant provides researchers and students with access to the complete IDCubePro 2026 analysis environment for projects that advance scientific research, education, or innovative applications of hyperspectral imaging.
One-Year License
Selected projects receive a complimentary one-year IDCubePro 2026 Academic license.
Full Feature Set
Access advanced spectral analysis, visualization, AI and machine learning, and volumetric tools.
Documentation & Support
Grant recipients have access to the IDCubePro documentation, tutorials, example datasets, and support resources.

The program is intended primarily for academic, educational, and non-profit research projects.
Projects Across the Hyperspectral Sciences
Applications are welcome across a broad range of scientific and educational hyperspectral imaging projects.
What to Submit
Applications are intentionally short. We want to understand the research question, how IDCubePro will be used, and the potential impact of the project.
Project Title
A concise title describing the proposed project.
Brief Project Summary
Provide a short description of the research question and intended use of IDCubePro.
Proposal
Upload a proposal of up to 1,000 words describing the project, expected workflow, and anticipated impact.

Application materials will be treated as confidential and used only for review and administration of the IDCube Research Software Grant. Please do not include information that is subject to third-party confidentiality restrictions or that you are not authorized to disclose.
By accepting the award, selected recipients agree that HSpeQ may publicly announce their name, affiliation, and award status. Any project description, image, or additional research information will be shared only with the recipient’s approval.
