Overview

Imports an AVI video and converts its frames into a three-dimensional Rows x Columns x Video Frames RGB video frames are converted to grayscale before they are placed The third dimension represents video frame number and therefore time, IDCubePro uses frame indices 1:N in the Wavelengths field for software compatibility and sets Band Index Mode.

Frame rate, duration, and actual frame count are retained in the An IDCube MAT file is automatically created from the imported AVI data.

Workflow

1. IDCubePro reads and converts all frames to grayscale.

2. Inspect the resulting frame stack.

3. Treat the third axis as frame/time index.

Do not interpret the displayed band index as wavelength.

This dataset represents a temporal image sequence.
