Bruker LUMOS Import

Imports corrected Bruker LUMOS spectral imaging data stored in a MAT file.

Overview

Imports corrected Bruker LUMOS spectral imaging data stored in a MAT file.

The selected MAT file must contain variable AB.

Columns 2:end = spectra for spatial pixels You provide the Y dimension. IDCubePro calculates X from the total The spectral coordinate is sorted ascending and image bands are reordered to maintain spectral registration.

Important

Bruker LUMOS is typically FTIR data, so the spectral coordinate commonly represents wavenumber in cm^-1 rather than wavelength in nanometers.

IDCubePro stores the coordinate in the generic Wavelengths field for compatibility.

Workflow

1. Choose Import Bruker LUMOS.

2. Select the corrected MAT file containing AB.

3. Enter the Y spatial dimension.

4. Verify X x Y equals the total number of spectra.

5. Confirm spectral units after import.
