Import CSV / TXT Spectral Cube
Overview
Imports a numeric spectral table stored as CSV or TXT and reshapes it into an IDCubePro hyperspectral cube.
Option A - First Column Is Wavelength
The first column contains wavelength values and all remaining columns contain spectra for individual spatial pixels.
Option B - No Wavelength Column
All columns contain spectral pixel data. IDCubePro assigns band indices 1:N to the spectral axis.
You provide the Y dimension. IDCubePro calculates X as:
X = Number of spatial pixels / Y The number of spatial pixels must divide evenly by the selected When physical wavelengths are supplied, they are sorted into ascending order and the corresponding spectral data are reordered with them.
Workflow
1. Choose Import CSV / TXT Spectral Cube.
2. Select the CSV or TXT file.
3. Specify whether the first column contains wavelengths.
4. Enter the Y spatial dimension.
5. Verify the calculated X dimension.
6. Complete the import and inspect cube orientation.
Incorrect X/Y dimensions can produce a spatially rearranged cube even when the spectral data themselves are valid.
