Overview

Imports Becker & Hickl SDT fluorescence-lifetime imaging data into The importer requires Bio-Formats bfopen(). The bfmatlab library must Each detected SDT image plane is loaded into the third dimension of The third dimension represents FLIM time-bin or image-plane index, IDCubePro assigns indices 1:N to the time-bin/plane axis.

Bio-Formats metadata are preserved when available.

Unlike many other IDCubePro importers, the FLIM SDT importer does not automatically save a converted MAT file.

Workflow

1. Select the Becker & Hickl SDT file.

2. IDCubePro loads the planes using Bio-Formats.

3. Inspect the resulting time-bin stack.

4. Save the converted dataset manually if needed.

The axis displayed by IDCubePro represents time-bin/plane index and must not be interpreted as wavelength.
