Imports local GeoTIFF and Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF raster files into IDCubePro while preserving geospatial information when available.
When Mapping Toolbox functions are available, IDCubePro uses readgeoraster and preserves the raster reference object.
georasterinfo and geotiffinfo metadata are preserved when available.
If geospatial raster reading is unavailable or fails, IDCubePro falls back to standard TIFF reading. Raster pixels are still imported, but some geospatial information may not be available.
Both single-band and multi-band GeoTIFF rasters are supported.
Bands are assigned indices 1:N unless a physical wavelength vector is COG describes the internal TIFF organization. This importer operates on a local COG file and does not perform remote HTTP range requests.
Workflow
1. Choose Import GeoTIFF / COG.
2. Select the local TIFF file.
3. IDCubePro reads the raster and available geospatial metadata.
4. Inspect raster dimensions, band count, and geographic information.
Band numbers are not automatically physical wavelengths.
