IVIS Import
Imports IVIS luminescence images from a parent experiment folder and assembles them into an IDCubePro image stack.
Overview
Imports IVIS luminescence images from a parent experiment folder and assembles them into an IDCubePro image stack.
Workflow
The importer searches each immediate IVIS subfolder for luminescent.TIF.
1. Select the IVIS parent folder.
2. IDCubePro searches the IVIS subfolders.
3. Matching luminescent TIFF files are collected in reproducible order.
4. A multipage TIFF stack is generated.
5. The stack is converted into an IDCubePro dataset.
RGB images are converted to grayscale when necessary. Frames with different dimensions are resized to match the first image.
Frame indices 1:N are stored as the dataset axis. The third dimension is IVIS image/frame index, not wavelength.
The generated TIFF stack is retained and the converted IDCube MAT file is saved.
Do not interpret frame index as wavelength unless your IVIS acquisition protocol explicitly associates frames with known spectral filters.
