Sentinel-2 Import
Imports Sentinel-2 spectral JP2 bands from a selected folder and constructs an IDCubePro multispectral dataset.
Overview
Imports Sentinel-2 spectral JP2 bands from a selected folder and constructs an IDCubePro multispectral dataset.
Sentinel-2 JP2 spectral bands stored in the selected folder or its IDCubePro detects Sentinel-2 bands from filenames containing the standard identifiers B01 through B12 and B8A.
Non-spectral Sentinel-2 products such as TCI, AOT, WVP, SCL, and similar auxiliary JP2 files are ignored.
Each detected spectral band is resampled to the current IDCube tile resolution so all bands share the same spatial dimensions.
Pixels with values 0 or 1 in internal bands are corrected using the average of the neighboring spectral bands.
Red = B04 / approximately 665 nm Green = B03 / approximately 560 nm Blue = B02 / approximately 493 nm The imported data are stored with physical wavelengths in nanometers and are automatically saved as an IDCube MAT file.
Workflow
1. Choose Import Sentinel-2.
2. Select the folder containing Sentinel-2 JP2 files.
3. IDCubePro searches the selected folder and subfolders.
4. Valid spectral bands are identified automatically.
5. Bands are resampled to the configured tile resolution.
6. Invalid 0/1 pixels are corrected where applicable.
7. Inspect imported band names, wavelengths, and spatial resolution.
All Sentinel-2 bands are resampled to a common IDCube spatial size.
This does not restore native spatial resolution differences between the original Sentinel-2 bands.
